We are pleased to announce that at the April Board Meeting of Ross Pike Educational Service Center,
(Fiscal Agent for SST 15), Lori Jenkins was hired as the new Assistant Director of Region 15 SST. Mrs. Jenkins will serve in this capacity until July 1, 2020, when she will assume the role of Director of the State Support Team.
Mrs. Jenkins has been employed with the SST 15 for the past four years and has many years of experience in Region 15 school districts, as well as with South Central Ohio ESC as a curriculum consultant. She has been an elementary teacher, teacher of gifted students, principal, federal programs coordinator overseeing grants management and grant writer, and an adjunct faculty member at several universities.
As a School Improvement
Consultant with the SST, Lori provides professional development in all
aspects of the Ohio Improvement Process, Literacy, State Reviews and
Positive Behavior Intervention and Support. Additionally,
Lori serves as Oli4 Coach, Regional Literacy Support Team Member and
collaborates with other team members to support districts in Region 15.
Lori lives in McDermott with
her husband Todd Jenkins, Superintendent of Northwest School District.
Their daughter, Whitney, recently graduated from Wright State University
and begins her masters work in August.
In her new position with the Region 15 State Support Team, Lori is looking forward to working closely with school districts in Region 15, as well as, Educational Service Center staff, other Regional partners, and the Ohio Department of Education. Lori can be contacted at [email protected]
