Eric Floyd

My name is Eric Floyd, I am a first-generation college
student and educator; I earned my Bachelor and Master's degrees from
Ohio University. My professional career began at Ironton City Schools
where I served as a Classroom Aide. The next thirteen years I worked
with incarcerated youth at the Ohio River Valley Juvenile Corrections
Facility serving as a Title One Reading Teacher, Assistant Principal,
Acting Principal, Instructional Coach, and Deputy Superintendent. The
last thirteen years I served as the Assistant Superintendent at the Rock
Hill Local School district with the primary assignment of managing
federal programs. This will be my 28th year in education.  I am a
lifelong resident of Lawrence County and reside in Ironton with my wife
Abby.
