PRESCHOOL CLASSROOM AIDE:  This position is considered part-time at four days a week (Monday-Thursday), location to be determined.  Qualifications include a high school diploma, ability to pass a background check, 48 semester hours (72 quarter hours) or the ability to pass the ParaPro Exam (basic reading, writing and math), ability to lift students, willingness to address toileting needs for students, excellent attendance, ability to follow directions, positive attitude.  Pay starts at $14.02/hour and experience is considered.  This is a 144 (originally was incorrectly posted as 178) day work calendar with 24 paychecks on the year.  Please complete the application at the link below before April 8, 2022.

INTERVENTION SPECIALIST:  This is a full-time position on a 185 day contract with location to be determined.  Chosen candidate will be able to teach students with multiple disabilities or behavior disorders.  Qualifications include a minimum of a bachelor’s degree with special education licensure through the Ohio Department of Education.  Successful experience working in special education is preferred. BEHAVIORAL TECHNICIAN: This is a full-time position on a 185 day contract. Chosen candidate will provide services to client districts in Ross and Pike Counties under the supervision of ESD behavioral specialist. Services include conducting functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) at the request of the districts; assisting with writing behavior intervention plans (BIPs); providing limited direct intervention where required. Qualifications include a minimum of a bachelor’s degree with special education licensure; master’s degree preferred. Experience working with students with behavior disorders preferred. Chosen candidate will be required to complete a registered behavioral technician course once employed.
