The Ohio Center for Deafblind Education is providing a professional development series, My Child, My Connection for young children.

The 3-part virtual learning series will focus on the sensory system, and the
impact of touch, vestibular and proprioceptive senses, smell, and taste on a child who has challenges with hearing and
vision. A description of each session is provided below. All sessions will be offered twice on two consecutive days: 1:30-
2:30 pm (ET) on “day 1” and 7:30-8:30 pm (ET) on “day 2.” (Note: Part 3 session times for the two days are reversed).
Participants may register for one or more parts of the series by clicking on the series registration link. One contact hour (1)
is available for each session. Closed captioning is also available; sign language can be provided upon request.
