The Roweton Alternative Education Campus: Roweton Site is a uniquely designed educational/mental health setting for students (grades 6-12) who have not been successful in a traditional school setting. Circumstances such as truancy, legal involvement and academic issues can prove difficult for districts, students and families. The Roweton Site provides in-school and home based supports so that students can achieve their academic goals, and so much more. At the Site, we utilize the Virtual Learning Academy on-line curriculum for our students, through their home school district. This enables students to not only learn materials necessary, but also to build computer skills which will enable them to function in today's technological society.
Through a collaborative partnership with the seven local school districts, Ross County Juvenile Court, Ross County Job & Family Services and Integrated Services of Appalachian Ohio, we are able to create a tailored goal for success for each individual student. For questions, comments, concerns and referrals, please contact Mike Magill, Site Director at (740) 702-2210.
