MATH 24

Students from Eastern Local, Scioto Valley Local, Waverly Local and Western Local recently competed in the annual Pike County Math 24 Competition. Students in grades 4, 5, and 6 competed on May 12 and students in grades 7, 8, and 9 competed on May 13. Jake Henderson of Waverly was the grand champion on May 12. In addition, he won the 4th grade competition. Madison Reed of Zahns Corner Middle School was the 5th grade champion and Amin Gilbert of Waverly was the 6th grade champion.

On day two, Katrina Taylor of Eastern was the grand champion. Also, Katrina won the 9th grade competition. Dakota Sparks of Piketon Jr. High was the 7th grade champion and Kyla Burkitt of Piketon Jr. High was the 8th grade champion.

The Ross-Pike ESD would like to congratulate all players and champions. A special thank you to the First National Bank of Waverly for sponsoring the competition and trophies.
