Talented and Gifted Services

- Identification of gifted students
- Individual testing of referred students
- Coordinate the collection of data for EMIS reporting of identified students
- Coordinate services provided by gifted teachers
- Work with regular classroom teachers and parents in providing appropriate learning activities for gifted students
- Consult with districts regarding the range of composition of district gifted services
- Serve as a liaison for districts with the Ohio Department of Education regarding gifted issues
- Coordinate activities for gifted students, both those identified and those students with special interests, such as:
Kids in College
Junior High Quiz Bowl
High School Mentorships
Youth Leadership
