This training module is designed to provide an awareness or basic understanding of bloodborne pathogens, common modes of their transmission, methods of prevention, and other pertinent information. A copy of your districts Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control Program is available within your local district, please check with your districts school nurse for exact location. Our program is designed to meet the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA's) Bloodborne Pathogen Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1030.
The following training module consists of a video presentation followed by a brief quiz to check your understanding of the content that was presented in the video presentation. You will be required to watch the video in its entirety and complete the quiz with at least a score of 75% correct in order for your local school district to receive confirmation of your completion.
This video component used in this module is approximately 22 minutes in total runtime.
Each participant in this training module should obtain a username and password from your local school district in order to begin the training.
